Namé Gabon operations were launched February, 2019 in an effort to clean up the coast line of Gabon and continue the Namé mission of supporting sustainable economic and environmental development. After we received the green light from the government in the form of an environmental permit, we opened our first factory in Libreville creating jobs opportunities for many locals. Within our first week we collected over 7,000 kilos of plastic which is predicted to double in the upcoming months. 

 

Namé Gabon will function like sister operations in Cameroon, facilitating convenient pickup/dropoff options in the form of our Ecobins and will also be producing and selling PET straps. Additionally, we are proud to partner with Castel Group - Sobraga as their exclusive recycling group.
